Lagos – The consolidation efforts of computer based test (CBT) by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) received a boost as the university of Lagos, Akoka revealed that it has doubled its capacity to make the electronic test a success.
The Vice Chancellor, University of Lagos, Professor Rahmon Bello dropped the hint when the Registrar of Jamb, Professor ‘Dibu Ojerinde paid him a courtesy visit to herald the 1st technical committee meeting on the 2014 admissions to tertiary institution at the University.
Professor Bello who spoke through the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics and Research Professor Babajide I. Alo at the occasion pointed out that the school was committed to the new examinations regime saying all the classes are fully compliant for the Boards’s examination come 2015.
Professor Alo stated that the University of Lagos would work and cooperate with JAMB in realising its mandate and her desire to revolutionize the education sector in line with best global practice. His words “we have doubled our capacity, all our classes are fully compliant. We are ready to cooperate with JAMB to make CBT a success” Meanwhile, JAMB Registrar in a remark, commiserated with the University over the death of their Deputy Registrar, Admissions, Late Mrs. Morenike Foluso Adare. Prof. Ojerinde explained.
