It has been reported by various Nigeria media organization that President Buhari declared his assets through a statement by his Special Assistant Garba Shehu. However, a look at the statement show wide discrepancies from what the Buhari stated before to be his net worth.

I have a house each in Kaduna, Kano and Daura which I borrowed money to build. I never had a foreign account since I finished my courses in USA, India and UK. I never owned any property outside Nigeria. Never.”
