After 8 Months In Office Buhari Goes On Vacation While The Country Burns

While the economy has completely collapsed, and Boko Haram Islamic Terrorist still slaughtering innocent Nigerians and every other sector deteriorating rapidly, the person who claimed to be ready to fix the problems by the name President Buhari has gone on vacation effective February 5, 2016.

According to a statement issued on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, “While President Buhari is on vacation, the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will perform the functions of the President.”

The release says that Buhari will resume to Wednesday, February 10, 2016. “In compliance with Section 145 (1) of the Nigerian Constitution, President Buhari has dispatched a formal notice of his vacation to the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives,” Femi Adesina stated.

Reliable sources revealed that Buhari has gone to London for medical treatment.

It would be recalled that prior to 2015 election and during the six-week postponement of the presidential election, President Buhari spent a long period of time in London hospital, which he claimed was for resting purposes.

After the election he moved back to London hospital and spent about nine days and returned only one day before his inauguration.

Political analysts say that this is troubling considering that Buhari spent 16 years just trying to be president and is already going for vacation 8 months after taking office.
