There Are No Lands For Grazing Reserve In Southeast – Governor Ikpeazu



Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State makes his position known Grazing Reserve proposed at the Federal House of Representatives.

The Governor was live on Magic FM 102.9 Aba on Friday May 6, 2016 on flagship program “People and Politics”.

“There are no lands for graving reserve in Southeast,” Governor Ikpeazu stated.

“Such policy won’t work here because we don’t have enough land for ourselves. If they want to establish such thing they should do so in the North where there are several free lands,” he added.

“What we advocate is the establishment of ranches across our state, to be owned and managed by our own people, that way, there would be no clashes or frictions. I mean, why would I have to wait for someone trekking from Maiduguri before I can eat meat?” Gov. Ikpeazu questioned
